Overview

MyPowerliftingCoach supports a comprehensive specialty equipment system designed for serious strength athletes. Whether you're using Westside-style accommodating resistance, training with specialty bars, or preparing for equipped competition, we've got you covered.

Equipment options are profile-based — you only see band and chain options on exercises where they make sense, and only if you've enabled them in your settings. This keeps the interface clean for raw lifters while giving equipped athletes full functionality.

Accommodating Resistance

Track bands and chains with precise resistance values. The app knows which exercises can use accommodating resistance and automatically calculates your total load at lockout.

For powerlifters who cross-train with strongman events or want to build functional strength, we support popular strongman implements.

Training Goal Integration

Strongman exercises are available for manual logging, but they won't be auto-selected for powerlifting or bodybuilding programs. When we add a dedicated "Strongman" training goal, the AI will automatically program these movements. This ensures your powerlifting program stays focused on SBD specificity while still letting you track strongman training.
